An excellent experience. The park is wonderful however it is challenging for someone new to the area. Unless you are prepared to commit to a lot of advance planning, for a first visit I highly recommend the Wilsons multi-day package. Guides are knowledgeable. Accommodation and food are great. The company and staff are flexible in trying to meet your needs.... More

From guide to accomodations to food to overall arrangements, this is one of the best experiences we had in New Zealand. We took the 3 day, 2 night hike. John was a terrific, very knowledgeable guide. Accomodations were better than we expected - not fancy but more than just basic. Pack lunches were substantial, with lots of variety. Breakfasts (hot... More

Thank you for describing a trip with us so well. We never have a problem with over-stating how great our Guides are but we do find it difficult to explain the standard of our food and accommodation, and comparing fitness levels. So thank you for translating ease, comfort and fine food for us. We're glad you enjoyed your trip with... More

Went on the 5 day guided walking tour of the Abel Tasman - loved the trip which was made so enjoyable by the Wilson's crew - friendly and knowledgeable guides who looked after all needs of the group throughout the whole time. And the lodge staff and chefs - comfortable lodges to relax and sleep in each night and excellent... More

We are lucky to have the use of a holiday house two doors west of Wilsons Meadowbank Lodge at Awaroa Inlet. With the road to the western end of the inlet closed this year due to slips and washouts we resorted to using Wilsons to come in by water taxi and go out on Vista. The service that Wilsons provided... More

Our party of 6 were part of a 14 person group that did the 5 day trip. Weather fantastic. Guides Dave & Sam were awesome, passoniate and very knowledgable. We had a great time with them and learnt a lot. The 5 day option gave us the opportunity to explore around each if the 2 lodges for a day. The... More

I was travelling with my partner and our 8 months old baby. We did a 3 day guded including some kayaking in January 2012. It was the end of our holiday but also the best thing we experienced. Both our walking guide John and Gina our kayakking guide did a great job and we had so much fun and enjoyed... More

How lovely is it to be kayaking next to some baby seals? The views are fabulous: golden beaches, the walk alongside the coast and swing bridge crossing More

We did the three day trip - it was spectacular and fun. Pick up by bus in Nelson, (many hotels will keep your car for you while you are away so you can leave your luggage there or with the Wilson office) then a boat trip to the northern part of the park to begin, followed by a half day... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a great review for us. I’d like to point out that we usually make sure our walkers don’t get wet above the knees at tidal crossings. Your Guides must have decided you were up for the challenge and would find it fun. Hope to see you on a 5-day trip next time. More

We did the five day walking and kayaking trip and had a fantastic time. The weather was great which obviously added to the experience. We are both in our early 60s and this was our first kayaking experience but found our guides, Sophie and Sam, very knowledgable and supportive. Our third guide, Dave, accompanied us on the walking parts and... More

Thank you for your wonderful review. It gives us all a real boost to know you’ve enjoyed your time with us. Many people ask if they are the “right age” to do a trip in the Abel Tasman so thank you for pointing out how ageless our trips are. We hope to see you again. More
