A fantastic cultural experience, well worth the money. We did the village tour. The highlight and disappointment was the school visit. The staff, teachers and children were a delight and we were ready to donate a significant amount to help out. however on departure we were fleeced by pedlars selling bracelets which they had made for us and demanded payment....

Perfect time getting to see the real Kenya, locals and especially the tour guides make you feel very safe and extremely welcome. Bikes in good condition, no problems and an overall great experience.

If you want a real taste of Kenyan life then this is a trip not to be missed. Cycling through the local village, visiting the local orphanage/school, medicine man, local cooking, fruit market.....all by 1130am in the morning. Our guide was so passionate and knowledgeable. This trip is a great way to mix in something new to a beach holiday... The guides take you on a bike ride all throughout the local town, Ukunda, where you get to learn about local life. When staying in a resort it is difficult to get in touch with the real Kenyan way of life, but Diani bikes does...
