Ubirr has great rock art as well as the best view of the wetlands and escarpment. I am sure that this is where Crocodile Dundee said “This is my backyard”. Managed to climb to the top of Ubirr with a 3 and 1 year old. Spectacular sunset and views. Great rock art. Definately a must see More

If you want the best seat (rock) to view the sunset get there early. I would suggest getting there at least an hour before sunset. we arrived shortly before sunset and did not have any time to explore the area before sunset. Be advised that they do have rangers checking for your park permits. More
