Base at jabiru or Cooinda.
Personally Cooinda..........Yellow Waters is stunning to live next too.
Swimming and walking.....great holiday combination.
Very very few tourists in this area.
Adults great......my 9 and 11 year old loved the swimming but not the walking! Wanted to take soccer ball to play with.

Gubara has great swimming, especially after the 3 kilometre walk in. The walk out was easier than expected because we soaked our clothing and hats in water before starting out. We stayed relatively cool on the walk because of that. The walk was worth it, a great place for a swim and picnic. We saw a big Water Monitor just...
