We did a dive here with Coron Divers with Bong as our guide and it was the most fun we've ever had diving. Seeing the shimmering layer at the thermocline and just goofing off at the bottom made for a really memorable experience....plus we had the place to ourselves! More

We stopped here as part of our adventure from El Nido to Coron with Tao Philippines. We swam up, climbed the stairs and snorkeled amongst amazing views! So glad we stopped here. More

It has a nice surroundings though not many fishes. Same as Kagayan, just take a dip and relax. Water is clear from outside the lake but strangely the water is cloudy when you look within the lake waters. More

This was a great way to cap off our first day of snorkeling, swimming and beach bumming. The water was refreshing and what's nice was we were the only ones there along with 3 other divers (who left a little after we had arrived). The water was clear and I could see the rock formations at the bottom. Really amazing... More

The water is cold and then warm. I got scared swimming even with the life vest on as the clarity of the water is way too intimidating. You can actually see the sharp rock formation below! It seems like there were buildings down there, it is just way too deep and the water is soo clear! It's just very interesting... More

We went to a scuba dive to this lake. It was my first lake dive and it was amazing. It was like exploring a different world. The rock that looks like a gorilla was really something and the thermal vents were just amazing. Sadly we werent able see any barracuda. But it was a worthwhile dive. More

A lot of people say this place is for divers only. But I would say anyone who appreciates what mother nature gave us would absolutely love this lake! It's kinda creepy when you see deep down that it's very very deep and there are some dark corners where you might think a Barracuda might show up hehe. That's why it's... More

It's my understanding that Barracuda Lake is usually included on some type of Island Tour, which was provided by our hotel (El Rio Y Mar). You approach the lake by boat, and can either swim under a small cave to access the lake or take a small ladder. The lake opens up, surrounded by walls of impressive, jagged rocks. Although... More

My wife and I dived Barracuda Lake in April 2010. We were in Coron to dive the Japanese fleet. As dedicated wreckies we were a bit dubious when told that we could not come to Coron an not dive Barracuda lake. All we can say is wow; in over 200 dives we've never seen anything like it, to this day... More

Barracuda Lake has practically no fish life, which sounds boring but it's actually amazing. The lake walls are intricately patterned and when you do find something living it feels like you're some kind of intrepid explorer discovering things for the first time. We were the only people at the lake and it was really eerie. It's hard to describe, but... More
