a very small fort;not much to see.u can see the spot of fleeing rani on horse marked only on historical interest.if u have seen other forts like Gwalior this is not a great attraction.dont miss orccha(around 30kms).

jhansi fort is not maintained but u can see once ,there are other places to visit which are near by areas such as orcha ,dams .it is well connected by train and bus

We went to the Jhansi Fort in October this year. This 17th century fort was made by Raja Bir Singh on top of a hill as an army stronghold. The Karak Bijli tank is within the fort.
