We actually did the round trip in 45min so as not to miss the ferry. Was worth the visit...and its free! There is an information booth there too.

The trail is roughly a kilometer or more to get to the stairs, however it doesn't give you this information on the sign board so I'm only guessing. do not expect too much both from the hike and from the view and go to stretch your legs after the drive from Digby or after awesome whale watching.

Balancing Rock was quite a phenomo. How does the Rock stay there through the storms? All I know is God is an awesome God. Absolutely!!

loved it...so beautiful looking out over the bay as well. The spot was a wonderful way to get out of the car and take a quick hike. The old dog found it a little challenging to get back but we loved it.
