A long sandy beach with crystal clear water in summer. Plenty of sun beds and umbrellas at reasonable prices, and two beach bars. Not very crowded and easy car parking on dirt road behind beach. The sea bed slopes gently so this beach is good for young children, but not such fun for strong swimmers. There is seaweed at the... More

There are lots of sun loungers but if you walk a bit past them you can easily find your own spot on the beach. Just a little warning.. if you turn left when you arrive it's lovely, but don't walk too far because it turns into a nudist beach.. More

On the week we visited the island had suffered a huge storm the beech was littered with drift wood and rubbish and kelp about 3 feet deep. however areas that where clear where very nice and we did enjoy it, even took a swim in October! More

Very accessible from Katelios or Skala, this beach can be windy at times, but nevertheless it is a great beach for the family. The sea is usually calm, and kids can be safe along the shoreline. Not many other attractions, but bring your own anyway! More

After visiting the main beach in Skala where the sea steeply shelved into the sea, the Mounda beach was a welcome relaxing change, with a 2, 5, and 8 year old, we could sit back and enjoy the children enjoying themselves without the worry that they were going to disappear into the sea. The only thing that ruined the day... More
