“A charming small temple in the Nan countryside, built in the Thai Lue style”

This was a bit of a 'find', not just another traditional Thai temple but a very light and airy, indeed a happy temple. If I lived nearby I would certainly visit frequently, or at least whenever I felt stressed, and needed a bit of a pick-me-up. “Nice temple, nice Thai-Lue house”

Wat Nong Bua,suppose to be the same artist who did the mural paiting at the famouse Wat Phumin in the city of Naan. We arrived during the day, the senior citizen were playing classical music in front of the temple, added a nice atmostphere. Also visit the Thai-Lue house behind the temple. Ban Nong Bua ("Lotus Swamp Village") is about 43 kms drive north of the centre of Nan town. The road is good and the trip is a comfortable 40 minutes.
