Orca spotting is not guaranteed as it depends upon their migration. We came from Tysfjord as we learnt they were there. We spent the first 2 hours looking for them in vain, and then found them. Amazing show of humpback and orcas fishing as a team.

We saw 3 sperm whales, quite a normal in number from what I understand and specie, 99% chances that you'll see spermwhales. The guides were quite nice, the boat rocks a little but everything was compensated by the most beautiful day of the summer. Take motion sickness pill and book in advance, sometimes the boats are full. If you don't...

We have been whale watching many times around the US but this was our first trip to see whales in Europe. We chose the Lofoten / Vesteralen islands after seeing that it was one of the best places in the world to see whales and that it is probably the only place to easily see sperm whales on a day...
