We travelled from Weld Jetty to Butterworth and back and found the experience something to remember. The trip from penang to Butterworth was free however the return trip was 1.20RM.
Once in Butterworth head to the bus Kapital and jump on a bus to the mega Store for some shopping.

The Ferry goes between Penang and Butterworth and leaves from Weld Quay.To get there you can take the bus numbered 101 which goes from Georgetown or Batu Ferringhi and drops you off outside the entrance to the Quay.The service is free from Penang to Butterworth but costs RM1.20 on the return journey.It is a very cheap price for the trip...

Very interesting to see ferry that can carry both passengers and cars. We climbed up the upper deck to have a nicer view. It was very windy and cool. My 2 years old son was very excited. Really enjoy the ride.
