the whole trip was great we loved to train i was reminded of my grandad. the kids loved being able to sit and see out the windows then being able to get out and take photos as the train came back it was great. Well worth the trip would love to go again

A novel experience run by steam train enthusiasts. Runs throughout the year but check for specific days and times. Good fun in renovated original carriages and with an open
waggon for those wishing to stand and brave the fresh air. The return outing takes about
2.5 hours.

I visited the Weka Pass Railway as part of an organised trip from a Cruise ship. I'm not a railway anorak but this was the most fun I have had on a preservation line.
