I did not heard anything about Uruapan but the National Park, it is an amazinq place to walk and eat fresh fish. You need at least two hours to walk tru the park, watching all fontains and enjoy the view.
The entry prices is about 2 USD, very cheap. You are going to enjoy pure water running and jumping in...

The entrance if crazy cheap, less than 1 dollar was you do the conversion
but for that 1 dollar you can get 2+ hours or incredible scenic views a natural beauty plus a nice folkloric history as to how the park originated. .
The waterfalls are massive and beautiful, water is clear and pure and for tip you can listen...

This park presents many different waterfall figures. As seen in the picture there are many different presentations.
There is a stream (in the park) and usually a guy will do tricks and dive from a bolder(rock). There are small stores where they sell clothes, jewlery, and fruit at fruit stands.
Seeing the different sculpted waterfalls will make an amazing picture...
