Open from spring to autumn. Only 1000 yen for an all-day pass (I think it was the same for adults/kids). This is in Wakamatsu area in Kitami (you will need a car to go there. about 10-15 minutes drive from Kitami station I think it was.) My daughter and I have been there in May, July and September.
