Quaint train ride, great views form the "eyefull tower" at the top. probably a bit pricey but a must do if you are in Coromandel. You must book ahead though or be prepared to go standby. More

I'm going to disagree with most of the previous reviewers. I found this railroad to be very overpriced for what you get. Yes, the New Zealand bush is beautiful here, but if you've seen it all over New Zealand already, it is not a draw. Impressively made and fun to go on. It was very busy and they were all booked up, so phone aheadif you can. Fantastic to know all the money made is going back into planting trees in this luscious green environment. More
