My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the coffee tour. The scenery and settings are stunning, we found the guides to be really informative and very helpful. The only thing that could have made for an improvement would be to taste different blends or roasts of coffee, to compare and contrast the differences. Other than that it was a great tour,... More

I stayed one night in Venecia and got back for 3 more nights 2 weeks later. The view, the air, the food, the coffee, the people make this place unforgettable. It is the perfect place to unwind, relax, recharge. This is the only place where you penny counting backpackers can afford to stay in a real coffee farm. There is... More

We (a group of 8 of us) stayed at Hotel Venezia and did the coffee tour and even though we're a diverse group we all really enjoyed it. The tour was fun, interactive, really informative and the great views around the farm was a bonus. The staff really went out of their way to look after us during our stay... More

We went to Parque Nacional del Cafe thinking that we would learn about Colombia's most famous export and were sorely disappointed. Then someone told us about Recuca. It is a little out of the way and you need someone who speaks Spanish to get you there but it is worth the visit. They treat you very well, make you dress... More

We stayed at the Hacienda and did the tour but plenty of people come on a day trip. It costs 35000 and starts at 9am and includes a great coffee. You can also organise private tours. The staff speak great English and even some French. The tour covers all aspects of producing coffee and includes a tour of the beautiful... More

If you drink coffee, this tour is for you. If you love coffee, more so. If you wonder how to make your everyday cup of coffee better, the coffee tour in Hacienda Venecia will help. Our visit to Hacendia Venecia started early morning from Medellin. A four hour drive through picturesque Colombia, through rolling hills, across rural Colombia and over... More

You should not leave Manizales without spending a day at the Hacienda Venecia to learn everything about the coffee growing, harvesting, selecting and roasting processes. Located in a beautiful and peaceful setting, the visit of the farm itself takes the morning and is ran by knowledgeable, multilingual and pleasant guides. Thereafter, you can have (a very good) lunch at the... More

This was such a beautiful and friendly place to visit (and stay)- the best hostel/hotel I came across in my whole trip. The rooms were lovely and very clean, the food was good, and the communal areas were spacious and there were plenty of hammocks on the beautiful terrace for all to enjoy daytime and evening lounging. The food was... More

We had the opportunity to choose between an English or Spanisch spoken tour. The guide spoke good English and answered al the questions we had. Dislike: I though the group was really big! More than 20 people. We also had lunch after the tour there, it costed 10 000 COL, but that was too much. Normally you get a lunch... More
