The grounds are picturesqueand the man made glow worm cave is astounding. Our guide was a great host; friendly, knowledgeable and more than willing to answer any and all questions. In fact, he encouraged questions! He was clearly enthusiastic about his job which made what might otherwise be a ho-hum tour something really special. The cave itself is quite dark... More

I was surprised when I realised I had never seen a glow worm, had no idea what they were, or anything else about them. I visit here will answer all the questions regarding glow worms that you didn't know you didn't know. Kids will love it, very informative, does not take too long, and after the visit, sample a wine,... More

We stopped off & had a bbq along the way before we set off for our trek to the glow worm cave. It's a pleasant walk through the bush and you can stop to read about the wildlife & vegetation along the way. Whenever you walk past a rock face turn off your torch to see glow worms. The water... More

The idea behind this cave was suggested by a national park ranger, to take the pressure off natural population of glow worms in national parks. Yes, the cave is artificial, but beautifully made, and there is nothing artificial about the glow worms: they have been happily breeding there for several years and have increased their numbers from a few hundred... this is an awsome experience and would have impressed me more if i had not seen glow worms in a natural habitat. this place is an attempt at preserving disappearing wildlife and is very educational. children will love it. everyone should go once. the gardens are lovely. the caves themselves look very fake(because they are) and theme park-y More

These man-made caves were created to help regenerate the glow worms that are quickly dying-off in nature. The worms are very sensitive to light and temperature changes so these climate & light controlled caves are helping to re-populate the caves that do exist. The tour is informative and educational. The guides are passionate about the worms and their future. For... More

A short (25 minute) and interesting tour of the man-made glow worm cave at Mt Tamborine. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and there were lots of glow worms to see. The food at the restaurant is really good too, and there is a huge selection of wines to buy too! More

This was something different to do as we had never seen glow worms before so was quite interested to find out about them. The first part is information based on a tv screen then you walk through a cave and see the worms all glowing up. The tour guide is very informative and knew his stuff which was great. Younger...
