These man-made caves were created to help regenerate the glow worms that are quickly dying-off in nature. The worms are very sensitive to light and temperature changes so these climate & light controlled caves are helping to re-populate the caves that do exist.

A short (25 minute) and interesting tour of the man-made glow worm cave at Mt Tamborine. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, and there were lots of glow worms to see. The food at the restaurant is really good too, and there is a huge selection of wines to buy too!
