Animals all over the place, not like QENP where you have to go looking for them. As usual the UWA ranger we took with us was pleasant and helpful, keeping in touch with his colleagues to find out where the lions were. Scenery was stunning - golden savannah with bluey-grey hills in the distance.

The park is huge, straddling the north eastern corner of lake Albert, on both sides of the Nile, flowing into and out of the lake at this very corner, between the towns of Masindi and Pakwach. Particularly the northern side of the park, north of the Nile, is very pretty, with rolling hills and sweeping vistas. The south side of...

We took a boat...

Definitely recommend visiting here. Saw lots of wildlife and had a lovely day. The falls alone is amazing. Expect to spend the whole day and would advise going as early as possible. Take food/ drinks and snacks with you.

Our group of 16 spent around four hours driving through the park. We saw a wide variety of animals but were disappointed that we only saw four elephants and zero lions. The charge is quite steep at an average around $40 per person once you add in the cost of the bus and the crossing of the Nile River on...

As most tourists visit QENP, this park gets less tourists, but has a lot to offer. Plenty of wildlife can be seen like Elephant, Giraffe, Baboons, Lion, Hippo's and Crocs. Do make sure your trip also includes a launch on the Nile. It's great to see the wildlife from the water. Als the falls themselves are impressive. It is said...
