We went on "The Original Jumping Crocodile Cruises", which is located right next to the highway bridge over the Adelaide River. It's roughly about a 50min drive from Darwin and it's best to book ahead of time just to make sure you get a spot on the boat (they have 4 sessions each day). If you're visiting the Territory or... the owners were super friendly, and the captain was very knowledgeable. i was hesitant about supporting feeding the crocs, but they explained why this is an environmentally sustainable tour. we got to see at least a dozen crocs in their natural environment. and they came super close to the boat. i discovered a beauty i didn't think they had! waaaaay... We did the Jumping Crocs Cruise as part of a day trip to Litchfield National Park, from Darwin. The cruise is on a high sided vessel, with a completely enclosed lower deck, or top deck open air viewing. There are smaller vessels offering the same cruise, but the crocs jump so high & have been known to jump onto the... More

As a long time Darwin resident. You and your family will love this attraction. When I was with my young family the boys were gobsmacked how close you could get to a massive jumping crocodile. It is on the way to Kakadu. Don't drive past. If you are coming from Yellow waters camping ground or coming from Darwin. don't drive past. More

We went on the Spectacular Jumping Crocodiles boat cruise. Our guide was very knowledgable and interesting and we met several huge crocodiles, well over 5.5 meters as they swam to our boat for a feed. Initially it was very, very scary to see these magnificent but dangerous creatures up so close. To watch them leap out of the water to grab... More

The 'spectacular jumping crocodile cruise' was fantastic. There are quite a few other jumping croc cruises in the area but we went to the one above and it was great. It was so great to see these crocs in their own environment rather than in capivity. The guides were knowledable and humerous. Check out pics attached. More

I went with the Walaroo jumping croc tour and it was brilliant. It's a small company so it had small groups and more interaction which was brilliant. The tour guide we had knew everything about everything and had stories about everything from the leaves, to the ants, the the crocs and everything around!! It brings you out on a small... More

We went with the 'original' croc jumping guys - they're about 2kms further down the Arnhem Hwy than the newer outfit - and couldn't have been happier. The boat was large - if a 6m croc can get out of the water, he can also get into a smaller boat - and with upstairs open air viewing and downstairs air... More

This is the first tour i've ever been on that actually looks like the brochures. The crocodiles are plentiful, enormous and very scary and really jump! This is a definite must see on your trip to the territory. I advise you go on the 11 am tour as all the local bus tours try to make it for the 9am... More

Went on the Spectacular Jumping crocodile cruise on the adelaide river, it was like being in a national geographic documentary the number of crocs that came to the boat...no chance of going for a swim!! saw Hannibal - absolutley huge (approx 6.5m) and the dominant male for the river north of the bridge. Guides were really informative and overal great... More
