Very enjoyable tiny town, all white and manicured under the blue Greek sky. We visited it when there was no other tourist around - and enjoyed it immensely.

Everything about this magical town on the harbour is wonderful!

If you love Mykonos but don't like its overcrowded aspects, Parikia is here for you! It's the capital and port of Paros, one of the most beautiful islands of the Cyclades Archipelago. Narrow streets, many boutiques, restaurants and bars. Getting a little overcrowded in July and August (but way lesser than Mykonos), but in September it's quite nice, in April...

We chose Paros as a place to stopover between the hustle of Athens and Santorini. Parikia is a lovely little town and a good place to relax for a couple of days. Plenty of good local restaurants, nice beaches, and really friendly people.
Great place to visit or stay. Many excellent tavernas and bars along the seafront and in the town. Fascinating labyrinth of narrow streets with surprises round every corner. Everybody is welcoming and friendly.
Parikia is the town where the port is.Nothing special but also not bad.It is nice if you go for a walk along the port and the sea / beach.People at the port renting rooms are to avoid and they are also very irritating
Great choice for families as it close to all nice beaches in Paros. Also there are nice taverns and cafes for afternoon walks.
Parikia is nice but not as nice as other villages of Paros. You should absolutely stay in Naoussa!!! But you should pay a visit in Parikia just for seeeing Ekatontapiliani.
The capital of the island has something for every taste. You can walk around the small streets between the whitewashed houses and the bougainvilleas and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. Or you can visit the many archeological sites like the medieval castle built on the remains of an ancient temple, or Panagia Ekatontapyliani the church that Saint Helen founded around 330AD....

Highly recommend the daily boat cruise. It's good for travelers of all ages, and I would love to do it again. The water is absolutely gorgeous and the food is awesome! The crew was very nice and fun.
