I lovely hill with first rate services! The variety of food in the restaurant is excellent and the room is immaculate!

I was there 27 of july. according to The website there were 155 cm snow at top. In reality there were very little show. Half hourly bus service from Mayrhofen is very efficient. Some nice cafes at bottom of lift area and good, very large restaurant at Sommerbergbahn. Great views from gondola and lovely to walk back down the path that runs under the lift.The glacier is very impressive.

Best summer ski in Austria! Just hope that will be more pistes for tourists.

Runs are probably graded too easily - our experience in Austria is that the Hintertux blues would probably be red elsewhere! But enjoyable nevertheless

Quiet and friendly but too small for other attractions.

We've had nice skiing on H'tux Glacier in the first days of November. Perfect weather condition, lot of sun, pleasant temperatures, no wind… Snow condition was excellent and slopes were also very good prepared. We went to Hintertux for a week in August. The main attraction was the all-year abaility to snowboard/ski on the glacier, but there are plenty of other things to do. The glacier had previously been snowed on around 8 days prior to our arrival. Conditions were definitely spring-like, with the best of the snow being on the two open blue... More

From Meyerhofen railway station there are frequent buses and it is cheaper than going by an organised expensive tour. Ther is plenty of time between buses to do want you want a whole day or part. Don't miss out on the view from the top lift station and platform.
