What a lovely place...old fashioned day at the sea side. Ice cream parlours, lovely promonade with well kept gardens, clean and tidy. A lift goes down to the beach for those who can't walk slopes. Parking is a bit expensive.

Lovely sandy bay with 2 excellent family pubs near by. Can be rocky at low tide but at high water lovely and sandy for paddling. Nice sandbank and quieter area to the left as you face the sea. Just watch out for the sewage discharge pipes!!

Lovely clean beach, with great beach cafe, always feel safe, even it the real hot weather there is room here, love walking our dogs between Oct - May, although some people still take them down out of this period which I think should be stopped!

A beautiful beach, quiet and safe and surrounded by the kind of white cliffs Dover can only dream of. It is a couple of miles from Broadstairs town centre, but then that's why it's quiet!

Great for winter walks with lovely sandy beaches backed by chalk cliffs. Could do with a good beach cafe in winter.

Botany Bay is sandy, backed by chalk cliffs. From the steps you can walk left towards the pumping station but that could mean a scramble up a muddy path if there is a very high tide. Right leads past a chalk stack and eventually down to Kingsgate Bay but the tide can easily cut off the return by the beach.... More

Could feel the history steeped in this beach. Beautiful and worth a visit! Saw a lovely painting of the beach at a craft fair - wish i had bought it...

The only thing i did not like was the seaweed on the shore but that s because of the tide. The white cliffs are stunning, it's worth visiting if you have a car.
