Brought our grandson here for a visit. He loved the cable car ride and as he's under 5 he was free so that was a bonus! Very clean and good play areas for the kids. The cafe is decent and staff friendly. The cavern isnt the best have been to but Neil was very informative and witty so was well... More

Visited with the family about a year ago and found it good value. To get into the park, you have a cable car ride across Matlock Bath and up the hill, which is good fun on its own. Good facilities, decent play area for kids, and the café is pretty good too - food quality and value well above most... More

Local attraction never been to,well worth the effort i'd only ever walked up there before and that was hard work. The cable cars give a great view and i took loads of photos. Usual cafe and gift shop, forgivable as we sat outside looking at a great view having a snack. Several good viewing platforms and talking telescopes. If its a... More

Loved the views and the trip in the cable car was quite exciting and a little bit scary! Was disappointed with the trip to the cavern because our group wasfor 60 people. In my opinion 20 at a time would be plenty. It was very difficult to hear the guide and because there was several children, it was quite noisy.... More

Loved all the views, the cable car attendants were great, was very scared when we came to a full stop on the cable car, and the wind got up and swayed us about, but then I hate heights, my hubby loved it, think I was very brave. to even do it, but very worth while in all a great experience.

A great place to visit with lots of different interesting things to do. We have been on days when they have run free craft sessions with a local artist and really enjoyed ourselves.

Loved the ride. Queuing a bit as it was bank hol but not too long. Loved the entertainments at the top. Wish we had allowed longer at the top - about 3hrs at least to do everything.

We had a really nice day out, it was good to do something different away from theme parks. The kids loved the guided tour in the caverns, and the cable car. There are plenty of Picnic tables and a good play area and brilliant views. Parking maybe a problem on hotter days, but there discounts available if you travel by... More
