My daugther and I went to Portsmouth Village with Portsmouth Island ATV Excursions out of Silver Lake on Ocracoke. Thanks to a hot but dry summer, the hordes of mosquitoes we had heard so much about were not there. Thanks to Natrapel lavishly applied to all exposed skin, the few we saw stayed away.
