Our choice of Toscana Mia came from reading Trip Advisor reviews. We selected the 2 day package, staying in, which cost Euros 639 per person. We were warmly welcomed into their rustic 13th century home by Paola and Simonetta. Fortunately we were the only bookings at that time so we had their undivided attention and hospitality in learning about live... More

I am a novice to cooking (to the kitchen to be exact) and took the 3 day cooking class program. The experience was more than what I'd ask for and given the opportunity, I'd definitely do it again. In fact, I have already recommended this to a friend who is going to take up the class next year when she... More

We chose Toscana Mia based on Trip Advisor reviews, and we weren't disappointed. Staying with Paola and Simonetta at their rustic farmhouse was like joining an Italian family for two days - they warmly welcome you into their home like long-lost aunts, serve up and teach delicious meals, and offer genuine insight into life in Tuscany. The class sizes are... More

My wife and I spent 4 days with Simonetta and Paola and enjoyed every minute. We stayed in their house and really enjoyed meeting their family. Learned about Tuscan home cooking and made some incredible dishes. Breakfast and dinner with everyone was fun. Great location and a great experience. More

I have read the many glowing reviews on Toscana Mia and whilst there are many aspects of the experience that I agree with, I feel that someone has to point out some of the areas of requiring improvement: Firstly, the cookery school is tucked away in a tiny village in the middle of not much. As a result, "students" generally... More

The sisters (Paola and Simonetta) are lovely and create a genuine Italian feel, with classes being held in their own kitchen and then a meal with the whole family. Wonderful afternoon had with my wife, even though I dont like cooking. Highly recommended More

My husband & I spent a wonderful afternoon learning , cooking, eating and laughing with Simonetta at Toscana Mia. My husband has never been interested in cooking or attending a cooking class, but we both had a terrific time and the food was great. In-fact he loved it so much we invited our friends to our home to prepare all... More

Toscana Mia cooking school was everything I had hoped it would be and more. We had the lovely Paola as our teacher and she was wonderful. Not only do you learn to cook some of the specialties of the region, you also get an amazing insight into the Italian lifestyle. Sitting down with the family to eat lunch and dinner... More

We were in Italy for 3 weeks, and had a wonderful time. My husband was not looking forward to the cooking class, but withing 10 minutes Paola had us both laughing and fully engaged. I often don't learn much at a cooking class, but it was incredible to be in a 14th c. farmhouse and use this working kitchen. The... More

We stayed at Toscana Mia for a full 5 days back in September 2010 as a birthday present from my wife. The house is exactly what you would imagine for a farmhouse in the heart of the Tuscan countryside and the views are breathtaking. Staying in someone else's house can be a bit uncomfortable but the whole family made us... More
