Weather affected helicopter trip from Wanaka airport - it was quite windy on the mountains which prevented high alpine landing. I very much enjoyed flying in the R22 helicopter and getting a feel for the controls which are quite different to an airplane. Also flying in the Wanaka area is something definitely not to be missed! I liked the way Chris demonstrated the controls one at a time – this was a good way to experience how the helicopter works... More
