My partner and I are thrill seekers and not big drinkers. I like a few drinks! Don't get me wrong but I dont want to get wasted on a boat on the middle of the ocean. Some do and most everyone on the schooner was have a blast with the drinks free flowing!! The crew was very accomadating. Never letting... More

We really enjoyed the Whales Tale, The welcome breakfast/morning tea was excellent with fresh fruit & croissants, we were pampered every step of the way. We also went on the Wellersley which was a wasted day. The crew on the Whales Tale did a terrific job with the glass bottom boat and fishing, a crew member went with the group... More

We really enjoyed the day , weather was perfect and the crew really spoilt our children. The schooner was a little rough around the edges but other wise a really enjoyable day. Only criticism is that the reef around the island was dead so snorkeling wasn't so good and would have liked to have sailed closer to some of the... More

Our SOP prior to any holiday is to research Trip Advisor and email tour operators with questions. After all you wouldn't buy a car without first researching it. When we planned our trip to Fiji we were well aware of comments about the various boat tour operators at Denarau. Whales Tales, whilst getting its fair share of criticism, seemed to... More

We did the day trip on this somewhat tired schooner (probably not helped by the fact that one of us works for a maritime authority in another country). The crew made e ry effort to make the trip enjoyable. They should remember that not everyone thinks getting tottally drunk makes for a good day. That said the trip was enjoyable.... More

so ... where to start, first things first, although not the responsibility of the operator, though the journey to the boat was a horrid 2 hour trip on a grotty coach from my hotel, the outrigger. then we arrived to board the boat. when i saw it, well ... it is in major need of reparations, restoring or scrapping. Loos... More

We went on this cruise with a 13 & 17 year old. The price for the 17 year old was the same as for adults ($189FJ) which is a rip off as she was underage and not consuming the "all you can drink" wine & beer. The cruise accepted too many people I think so by the time we got... More

The crew are the key to this trip being so good. They are so welcoming and accommodating. The day spent on snorkel island went too fast. The snorkeling was great, the lunch was delicious and the whole day was a delight! Watch out for afternoon naps on the way back, resulting in very sunburnt shoulders More

The crew on this ship were fantastic. If you want to snorkel off the Island, most of the coral is dead. When we went out it had been raining heavily overnight and into the morning followd by heavy rain in the afternoon. The forecast was for storms, the trip should have been canceled. Due to rains we werent able to... More

From the moment we stepped on deck the welcoming began, everything included in this trip no hidden expense. All food, soft drink alcohol, snorkel gear everything inlcuded. A mixed crowd of around 40 people who mingled and chatted with each other together with the fun and happy crew made this our memorable day in Fiji. Victor is just amazing remembering... More
