The people I met in Prilep were all very proud of this monastery. During the communist years it was abandoned. But since the fall of the Yugoslavian state, Nuns have reclaimed this sweet little monastery on the edge of town. It is a lovely compound built up on the rocky, desert foothills, so the contrast is part of it's charm....
