Completed and opened ind 2010, the Old Faithful Visitor Center offers a good introduction to the park. This visitor center primarily focuses on how all the features (mud pots, geysers, etc) form and function. “Worth a See but not the best Visitors Center”

If you are already at Old Faithful, then you should see how the geysers work. Just do not expect much. It is a very over priced building and under priced exhibit. More

I think most NPV visitor centers are at least good, if not great. As with most, this Center is a great hub for information and visit planning. Educational displays are informative without being boring, the staff is helpful, and the gift shop/book store is well-stocked. I was at Yellowstone in 2010 while the new Old Faithful VC was under construction, and the temporary center wasn't much to look at. However, the new center is amazing.
