There are a few vantage points to get great pics of this magnificant waterfall. We visited in early May and there was still plenty of snow around the area, including at the base of the falls. There are two vantage points straight in front of the falls, but the perfect PHOTO OP is to sit on a bench near the... More

The lower falls is probably the most beautiful vista in the park. Visible from many vantage points on the rim. However, the winter view is amazing. Spray from the falls forms an spectacular ice dam at the base. The vibrant colors of the canyon are muted by snow and create a hauntingly beautiful landscape. Go! Go now!

One of the most beautiful waterfalls in the western united states. I recommend going to the brink of the upper falls as it's impressive to be so close to the water as it roars over the edge. If you are scared of heights, I would be cautious going to the the upper brink as it's pretty high up.

In July 2012, mom, dad, and 12-year-old walked down "The Brink of the Lower Falls," and we just loved it. (MIL and 7-year-old waited at the top for us.) From start to finish, it took us about 45 minutes with short stops and some time spent at the bottom. It was a very steep hike down and, obviously, coming back... More

I am glad we went to this site in winter. Very few tourists and ample time to view the falls and take photographs. Wonderful contrast of white snow, dark rocks and the waterfall splitting the valley below. A must in winter.

Nice trail to ski along in the winter. Its so still and calm, like a winter wonderland. And the falls are frozen so it feels like another world. Very beautiful!

These falls are really nice with many viewpoints that are all pretty easy to get to. The canyon area is a highlight of the park and these falls are the reason why. Take a lot of pictures, you will want to remember this.

Well worth it, Handicap accessable. Go early as the lighting for picture taking is much better and less crowds
