When you visit Old Faithful in July you have to be prepared for the masses. We could barely find a place to sit to observe the eruption and the inn was shoulder to shoulder through the lobby and gift shops. Not so when you climb to observation point. Observation Point is a great option to utilize when one wants to view the Old Faithful geyser and geyser basin from a bird's eye view.
