At first, didn't quite get the idea: what's there to visit in an office building ? however, it's quite impressive to see this bit of history still standing between all the glass and steel. The doors, the door handles, elevators, the signs ... all look "out of this world". Of course, the view from the roof is definitely amazing and... More

Most of the stores are gone. Only TJ Maxx, Macy's and a few small stores remain. More

We loved getting to look off the top of this 49 story building. My youngest child was a little traumatized by the tiny, tiny elevator that takes you up the last 4 floors. He called it the scary-vator. But, once we were up there, it was great. Wonderful views. I would have liked it if there was a plaque or... More

This marvelous art deco masterpiece , the tallest building in Cincinnati, houses a Hilton hotel, many stores, a local artists cooperative gallery and an observation deck. Two elevators are required to get to the observation deck, and if you don't care for small, older elevators or don't want to use the stairs for the last 3 floors, this attraction isn't... More

Great view of Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky on the top of Carew Tower. And at $2.00 a ticket, it's definitely a place to take family/friends/anyone visiting Cincinnati. It's right in downtown, near Fountain Square, so you're in walking distance to the rest of the shops/restaurants. More

We love the building, the mall, and heading up to the roof for a look around. My partner's grandfather worked there as a building mechanic many, many, moons ago. So the building is in our hearts. You have to stop by and take it in. More

For $2, you can visit the 2nd tallest building in Cincinnati. This is an Art Deco masterpiece. It is sad to see how little appreciated or maintained some of the building has become. Very few locals seem to realize that you can travel to the top of this building for one of the best views of the city. Carew tower... More

The Carew tower is in the center of downtown Cincinnati - 5th and Vine, right across from Fountain Square. Until 2009, it was the tallest building in the Queen City at 49 stories. It boasts a mall with several upscale and moderate restaurants, and is adorned in beautiful 1930's art deco architecture. The best part of the Carew tower is... More
