i cant say enough kind words about these great tours. we went early enough where we could split a waffle & beer at the belgian waffle bistro, and the other tour we had a beer at a restaurant across the street after the tour. theres so many new, unique restaurants to try before or after, dont hesitate to do that.... We took the Cincinnati Underground Tour on Sunday April 22. This tour takes about two hours and is fun and informative. I learned so much about the history of the city as well as the area of Over the Rhine. This is an up and coming neighborhood and our tour guides were very passionate about this area. Their tour had... More

Our three tour guides on this were great...really energetic and knowledgeable about the area. Their anecdotes and historical information were entertaining and informative. Because Over the Rhine is essentially an inner-city slum in the initial phases of gentrification (or "urban renewal"), the interiors of a few of the "underground" sites are still pretty raw in that they have not been... The Underground tour is a fun and interesting tour in Cincinnati. It gave a great perspective on the history of the Over-The -Rhine area of Cincinnati. Very interesting and fun. Worth doing if visiting Cincinnati. More

This was such an interesting tour...learned a lot about the city I live In! Guides were wonderful. Nicely paced tour. Actually we have now been on 3 tours organized by this company, American Legacy Tours. We did this tour, the Civil War Tour, and the Newport Gangster Tour. All were excellent, led by enthusiastic guides, and very informative. Highly recommend... More

The tour is absolutly amazing! I love Cincinnati history and the fun part starts in Over the Rhine Brewery District. You get to walk through tunnels dug under roads where they would transfer the beer and in deep caverns where it was stored. If you have a few hours in the afternoon to spare it is truely worth the experience. More

This tour was loads of fun, with great energetic guides. Learn about the history of Cincinnati's Over the Rhine neighborhood from the 1850s through Prohibition. Tour the underground tunnels where beer was brewed and stored. See the old nightclubs (some haunted!) and tenements that made up the old German neighborhood. A bit strenuous with narrow, steep stairs down into the... More
