This is not NYC quality but it is good and deserves a visit. Admission is free, nice lay out and the people are friendly. It is possible to spend an afternoon here, relax and enjoy the art. Only cost, four dollars to park.
Didn't get to spend as long here as I would have liked, but was impressed with what I did see. No entrance fee, but did charge $4 to park (unless you spent $15 at museum store). Winding road up to museum and around grounds has some beautiful scenery. Large collections of art from modern to ancient and photography to sculpture....

A pearl of a museum, and it's free (you pay only the parking and if you buy something at the store forat least $15, they will deduct that also)! Don't miss the terrace for a view of the park and a glimpse of Cincinnati. the terrace entrance is through the library upstairs.
It is large building. Wear comfortable shoe because: A lot to see inside the building with different the art from Asia, Europe,Mexico. Outside is a huge land which I did not have time to visit.
we love the grounds and the museum. very impressed with the gallery and displays. we drove to Cincinnati for a getaway weekend and enjoyed the museum cafe for the day.
Of course the art itself is worth a trip to the art museum. The buiding itself is also very interesting. The Cincinnati Art Museum is one of Cincinnati's gems that should be visisted by everyone who comes to Cincinnati. There are works of art that will appeal to everyone!!

The best thing is that the museum is free, if you like modern art check out the nice Josef Albers prints, fabulous!
The Cincinnati Art museum is a lovely museum with some great collections. My nine year old son was particulary impressed with the antiquity collections and I was excited to point out paitings by Monet, Renior, and Picasso.
With free admission, a great scavenger hunt to engage kids and adults alike, as well as the proximity to the reflecting pool and...
