I've taken many excursions in the past off of cruise ships but my stay in Waikiki was just made more memorable after the Novatek dinner cruise in Oahu. The crew were extremely accommodating and versatile. Just like on a cruise ship their duties range from Customer Service to entertainment. The show was very entertaining and funny and the food was... We really enjoyed this. This was a wondeful dinner cruse. The view from our table was amazing. We sat with some wonderful people. So sweet. They had live entertainment and the MC was great! While we were out on deck taking in the sights there were several dolphins racing in front of the boat. There were even 2 baby dolphins.... More

waste of money, nothing special was seen from boat. Whales were fare, we saw them better from hotel on Kauai. Lot of time was waste in porrt regarding to high traffic. I really don't recommend this activity.

The staff were very accommodating as I was on crutches. Almost immediately after leaving port we came upon a whale pod if two adults and one baby. What a show it was the baby was constantly breaching and at one point towards the end both adults and the baby did complete breaches. The boat was clean and very comfortable. As... More

First impressions count.......Our children decided to surprise us with a thank you for paying for their trip to Hawaii by booking my wife and I onto the 'royal dinner cruise' for our 31st wedding anniversary. We walked upstairs and were greeted by a sight what appeared to be a japanese restaurant in tokyo with japanese patrons everywhere. we were herded... More

Well, first of all we DID see whales! That was pretty cool, even though seeing whales wasn't something I ever thought i really cared to do. Be realistic, clearly, you just see parts of whales (and have to be paying lots of attention to the naturalist on board who spots them for you in order to catch a glimpse of... More

I was well aware that we will not be able to be too close to the whales, and it was going to take a lot of luck and patience to be able to see them. We did see a couple of sightings within the first half hour, but since that was when the buffet was served, a lot of people... More

This was our second tour with the Navatek cruise. Last year we went on a day cruise which included lunch. My advise is not to do this option, the food is mediocre and not too clean. If you like mass catering then you will be fine. We chose to do the morning whale watch this time as it is whale... More

We went on the Friday night sunset cruise - largely to see the city at night from the water and to enjoy the Friday fireworks. Our expectations for the meal were not real high. As it turned out, there was a good buffet offered with several selections form which to choose. None were great, but all were good ... much... More
