Took a friend on a surf lesson with Aikau Pure Hawaiian Surf Academy recently. Gerard gave the tour. I must honestly say that these guys are not only professional and thorough in the their presentation of the basics of board surfing, but they are probably the most genuine and authentic experience available in Waikiki.
