Today, it is a gathering place that thrives with walkers, runners, tennis enthusiasts and picnickers. Grab lunch on Kalakaua Avenue and enjoy it in one of the shaded picnic areas scattered around this colorful park. « less

Cool place to have a picnic or to simply chill out and relax. Only a few hundred yards from the beach and there's usually always something going on in the park. Great place! More

It's a nice park for art shows and symphony concerts. Close to Waikiki, going toward Diamond Head. Nice beach area around here, too. More

Located next to the Honolulu Zoo. Perfect place to spend the day with the family at the zoo and picnicking at the park. Always clean and maintained. With the backdrop of Diamond Head on one side and the beach on the other, scenery cannot be beat. More

Nice for picnic. Tables here and there. Bring rag to sit on. Big park, good for a lot of activities. From top of Diamond Head later in the day, we saw where we picnicked More

Just walked through the park on the way to the aquarium, and on the way there were a ton of Banyan trees with vines hanging down--perfect for a 4 year old little boy to swing on!! In the shade, happy kid, makes for fun memories. Lots of little kids came and went to do the same....lots of laughs! Enjoy! More

A very large park with lots of benches, tables and charcoal dumping areas. Has a few work out bars. Great for running around, relaxing reading a book or grilling. Great location with lots of trees. More
