This was my birthday dinner. The lobster was so bad I sent it back. Old and over cooked. The second one they brought me was not much better. The steak made up for it, fantastic. Service was great and the entertainment was very good. It's over priced for what you get. But it's something to do once.

We booked in advanced and as fate would have it the sea was very rough with rain. The staff was very engaging, polite and tried to get everyone involved. Polynesian show was good but in our dining section - which each level and room on this ship has different food selections and views based on the price you paid -... More

Tasty Mai Tai on arrival followed by great crab and steak dinner which we were able to finish prior to sunset. Enjoyed a beautiful sunset from the decks of the Star of Honolulu while watching a whale and its baby splash around in the distance.....bonus! Entertainers and staff super friendly!! Enjoyed a dance along with the live music.....we had a... More

My husband and I both celebrated our milestone birthdays this month, in Hawaii. We went on the Star of Honolulu Dinner Cruise and had a wonderful time. The steak and lobster dinner was exceptional and the views at night, absolutely spectacular. I would strongly recommend this dinner cruise and must add that it was our second time on it, and... More

The title of the excursion is "Sunset Dinner Cruise" but they did nothing to call your attention to the sunset. We paid the extra for the window seat but one of us had to have our back to the window. If one of us saw something going on behind the other we had to try and get their attention to... More

We were not too sure what to expect with such a commercial attraction as it does seat 1500 passengers. Starting with the "pick-up" it was rather confusing as to where we were going to be picked up the confusion was compounded by the large number of tour buses present. The bus was late and people were becoming concerned, but the... More

It was a small group and everyone was able to see whales. The biologist was very informative. The crew was wonderful. The food was also very good.

The entertainment on the cruise was very good. The food was good. The bus did not pick us up where they said they would. The bus was late. The people at check in seemed unconcerned and took a long time to get our info and tickets correct.

We spent the evening of our last full day in Honolulu on the Star of Honolulu, and it was very nice. We paid a little extra to get the window seats and that was nice, but I don't know if the other floors above us were as cram-packed full of people as the bottom. There was nothing 'private' about being... More

Our 3 Star Dinner Cruise on the Star of Honolulu was fabulous. We opted for a private window table and did not regret it. The service was very good and food tasty and well presented. The most fun was the entertainment. After dinner the entertainers drew the audience in and had most everyone up and dancing. Well worth the cost!
