If you just went to the mall to shop, you'd be missing a lot. What makes this place special is the location. This place is wedged between the downtown business district on one side, and the excellent Steamtown National historic site. I visited Scranton with my wife and my mother. My mom doesn't like to walk much and doesn't like... More

Arrived a little early this morning to get a cup of coffee and window shop before the mall opened. This is a practice I have done many times before but today I was stopped by two gentlemen and asked what I was doing on my way to the entrance in the garage. I explained and was told the mall was... I stopped here to visit the Scranton sign that is featured on the show The Office on NBC. The staff was great at showing exactly where everything was. There is also plenty of parking.

I've lived in PA for 20 years and I finally made it out to the Mall at Steamtown, during Christmas break. It has some pretty amazing stores. some i've never seen before. I will definitely keep the Mall at steamtown on my Christmas shopping list for next year.

This mall has a food court with a bridge to steamtown, which has no food service. There was also a train layout and miniture display when we went. We came back later and ate at Hurricane Grill and Wings, which was good.

It's a shame but this mall is disappointing. Many empty stores, not much of a food court. Depressing especially since many of the visitors are fans of "The Office". However, Boscovs Dept, store has some really great prices.

Typical mall but offered a lot for children. Found it to be clean but not a lot of restaurant choices...still a nice mall.

Conveniently located across the (long!) walkway from the Steamtown Historical Site, the food court is right inside & a great place to grab lunch. Visit their website for full restaurant listings but for me it was Arthur Treacher's where I could relive childhood memories from back when my town had one. The same counter also served Nathan's hot dogs, favored... More

We were upset because when we got to town the mal was closed and in the morning it didn't open until 10 am. We are huge Office fans and the only reason we came to town was to take pictures of Office structures. We got excited because the doors were open a little after 9 am but alas a guard... More

I went to The Mall at Steamtown to check out the Welcome to Scranton Sign seen at the beginning of "The Office". The sign is located in a convenient location near Boscov's and a staff member at a nearby store was nice enough to take a picture of me with it. There are some nice stores in this mall and... More
