Displays of personal collections of Japanese, Chinese and Egyptian items at WV Smith, several nice collections of French, Dutch and American art, Currier and Ives collection, Nat History and Science museums have lots of hands on and diaramas for kids of all ages. More

You can have a very nice day with your kids at the Quadrangle. The directions on their website were good and there are some signs, too. It's probably 5-10 minutes off of the Masspike. For $12.50 per adult ($10.50 if you are a teacher!) and $6.50 for a kid, you get access to all the Museums. The Dr. Seuss park... More

A nice museum that is well organized and maintained and which has something to offer everyone in the family. Easy parking outside. Worth half a day's visit if you are in the area. More

This is actually 5 museums in one. Unfortunately we did not have time to see but one museum. We specifically went for the Indian motorcycles which is located in the history museum. It was a wonderful exhibit, they also havee Rolls Royce cars, carriages, a nice display of Smith & Wesson guns, and a lot of other items that were... More

If you have a half day the Quad is a perfect place to visit---has a remarkable collection of French Impressionists as well as an enviable American art collection. A true jewel of museums More

I have to say the hasbro game room addition is excellent and beautiful. However bringing even the best behaved children into the painting museums will be given the evil eye from start to end. My skin was crawling and would of been upset if I wasn't a resident and got in for free. I plan to go back for more... More

As a local I have vistied the Springfield Museums at the Quadrangle many times over the years. is a great addition to the Quadrangle Museums. Many free attractions and things to do in downtown Springfield. You'll learn about the history and famous people of Western Mass along with a better understanding of the ecosystem and our place in it. One is able to see art, artifacts and exhibits of the natural world, as well as Dr. Seuss themed statues, all within walking distance of each other. Good for kids and adults alike. More
