My husband and I took the "Favorites of Santa Fe" class while on our honeymoon in Santa Fe. We really enjoyed our class and our instructors Mika and Noe. The instructors were very knowledgable about the history of the foods and the area. We learned so many new things about chiles and Santa Fe in general. The best part of... More

The chef was very entertaining and very willing to explain everything. I learned a lot about poblano to chile! The place is very small but they will be moving soon to a house. I plan on returning soon. More

We went to a Southwest Cooking Light class and it was wonderful! The two lady chefs were not only extremely knowlegable but they were hilarious in the way they played off each other. My husband and I learned so much from this demo class, I took copious notes, and we enjoyed a fabulous lunch of the food that the chefs... More

My tour of Santa Fe, New Mexico was complete after visiting the School of Cooking! Deena prepared a lovely meal and was fun to watch. We all enjoyed the wonderful recipes and I bought some of the ingredients in the shop to try at home. A must see! More

Michelle was our chef for an evening dinner for a large group of seniors. She was very entertaining and full of great cooking tips. Dinner was delicious!! Would have loved to have seconds. I was seated in the back and had a difficult time seeing the cooking action. Even though there are overhead mirrors above the cooking area, several of... More

We took this class while hanging out in Santa Fe. It was one of the top things to do there on Trip Advisor, so we tried it out. We learned a lot and it was fun and informative. I bought lots of books and spices to take home. A great way to spend and hour and a half or half... More

The chef, Deena, was so informative and fun. This was a demonstration class, and we could all easily see with the large mirror about her cooking area. We had wonderful food, took home great recipes, some I have already tried at home - and we have only been home 2 days! Nice gift shop also. More

Had Deena and Noe as instructors. The woman who checked people in was "stressed out" and disorganized. She was rude to a customer who was waiting for our class to start and needed to use the restroom--no, some instructors are eating in there now-- and then said that she didn't know where a public restroom was! I found Deena not... More

Great tamales hands on cooking class with Chefs Deena and Noe. Both were very knowledgeable about local cuisine and kept the class engaged for the 3+ hours. They also shared their favorite restaurants and bars in Santa Fe which was appreciated by those in the class that lingered. I would definitely take another class. They have a 3 hour walking... More

Deena and Noe were our resident chefs for our outstanding cooking class. Deena had a very colorful personality that combined regional cooking knowledge with a fun sense of humor. My sisters and I were lucky enough to be at the most challenging station where we learned many new skills and worked with many new ingredients. The outcome of our efforts were... More
