We've have seen so many great performances here over our 27 years in Santa Fe. We are lucky to have such a beautiful and historic place to enjoy the great culture they provide!

This theatre is beautiful - somewhere between Spanish Moor and Art Deco. Lovely to sit in. The play we went to see (Humble Boy) not so entertaining but that is not the Theatre's fault.
Negative comments contrasting to all the positive ones.
The Lobby is way too small and people just stand around and make it difficult to
get by, especially to the restrooms out in the outdoor atrium.
Alcoholic drinks at the Lobby bar are far too expensive, though the bartender Gary is friendly.
The ski-jump-like-ramp down into the theater is very dangerous...

Had fun, great folks running the place, and Santa Fe is fortunate to have the wealth to offer such a nice looking restoration. Place reminded me of The Fox in Atlanta, only on a MiniMe scale.

Amazing, all the seats are good views, no "obstructed views".. and they have redone the sound system and added support for some of the hearing impaired needs. We love the Met Opera broadcasts, English Theater and Santa Fe/Aspen Ballet.... and on and on. Very very good venue and over the top options. Gotta run, Arlo Guthrie tonight!
We've been many times, and value the opportunity presented for varied cultural and entertainment events. We've actually built trips down there to take in something special at the Lensic. Hats off to the folks who are doing the hard work to make this venue a true treasure.
This is the best thing that has happened to Santa Fe in years. Offering great performances with well known artist and a variety of cultural events and preforming arts. Santa Fe can be a bit of a "sleepy town" in the evenings, but the Lensic has brought night life back to the culture and the people. Muchas Gracias!!
I have lived in Santa Fe for 60 years and have seen this wonderful theater transform into the magical experience it is today. I would go to movies in the 40s for ten cents and sit in the rockers or in the balcony. Today the rockers are gone but the nostalgia is very much present. A must see theater in...

I've lived in Santa Fe for only 2 years. The Lensic is my favorite indoor place. From live classical performances, jazz, independent films , balletl, adventure and outdoor films there is always someting going on at the Lensic. The Theatre does not have a lousy seat in it. Great acoustics regardless of your seat. Intermissions typically include a cash bar....

There's always something for everyone at the Lensic. So what is the box office personnel are rude and unhelpful and the volunteer ushers are poorly trained, the events speak for themselves. AND fire safety - this place would definitely not pass the code in any other city!
