We thoroughly enjoyed our first Trip to Texas! Our tour on the Alamo Trolley was very informational. Alex, and later Robert, were terrific. Alex gave us an in-depth look as only a native son could do. He gave much info about the river walk-past, present and future. He gave insight to the mission system and how it changed the lives... What you will see will blow you away. Get the ticket that allows for you to get off and on the trolley, well worth it. It allows for you to get off at the missions, and tour the churches at them. So go early and enjoy the whole day walking through the missions and the Mexican square. The bakery was... More

Our tour guide was wonderful. I have forgotten his name but he was a middle aged black man who was very animated and descriptive. He titled his tour "Things you need to know about San Antonio". Ask for him if you can, you will not regret it, and remember to leave him a generous tip he will certainly earn it!... More

Don't confuse the Alamo Trolley Tour with the Grand Trolley Tours. My husband and I did the buy one day get the next day free. It worked out well for us. We had a wonderful guide our second day, Phillip. He had a wonderful voice for a guide and was a walking history book. Do the Trolley Tour and enjoy... More

Went on this tour while in San Antonio. Initially we were confused as to where to pick up the trolley. It's not in front of the Alamo, as we were told, but instead in front of the Menger Hotel. I think our guide was TJ, and he was very entertaining, and a little loud, but energetic. I wish we could... More

Great tour. We bought the full tour package. Two days on the trolley, a boat tour on the river and a trip to the top of the Hemisphere. Alex our driver was very informative

Although our guide was kind enough to wait five minutes as we were late arriving, we found his tour to be pompous and annoying, even a little sexist with references to what the Ladies might enjoy as opposed to what would be interesting to the men. The tour might be good if one were to spend only one day visiting... More

This review is unacceptable. I wish you had reported your concerns to the sales staff or noted the tour guides name so that corrective action could be taken. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in San Antonio. More

I took a tour with Alex of the Alamo Trolleys and was surprised at how much he knew about the places listed on the tour. I gained new knowledge of all the stops on the tour and I highly recommend this tour for everyone.

This was a very enjoyable way to travel to and from the various points of interest throughout the city. We started by taking the full hour tour and then hopping off and on at the various points of interest we wanted to see. The trolleys stayed very close to schedule and the ticket staff along with drivers were all helpful... More

Alamo Trolley offers a second day free with the purchase of a Hop On/Hop Off ticket and you need two days to see everything even with just the minimum time allowed. The drivers/guides we had were Philip and Leroy. Both were extremely knowledgeable, courteous, kind and helpful (my husband is in a wheelchair). They were on time at every pick-up... More
