We stayed at the hotel a couple of years ago and were disappointed. Heard that changes were being made, so decided to try again as we had always enjoyed the golf course. What a pleasant surprise. The renovations to the hotel and grounds made a major difference. Very comfortable and what a friendly, gracious staff!! Looking forward to seeing it... More

We went to Tapatio Springs with high hopes. We have a 3 year old and were really looking forward to relaxing and I might try to get in 18 while there. I was really disappointed. The rooms were completely dated, rugs stained, little dated TV. You get the message. We ate at the restaurant and the service was terrible, food... More

When new management took over last summer I had hopes that this tract would have been reinvigorated. I was wrong. The fairways and greens are threadbare and pathetic. They added new sand to bunkers and planted sod on the fifth tee Lakes course, but nothing of any import has changed here. They need to bite the bullet and shut it... More

We spent a long weekend at the resort. We had a great time. We were part of a large group (MAS family retreat). The staff at the resort was very friendly and cooperative. Food was great. Had lots of fun. I will highly recommend this place!! More

For years I've read about and wanted to play to courses at Tapatio Springs outside San Antonio, TX. Well, I got my chance in March 2011 and boy was I disappointed. The fairways were dry and bare and the Ridge course just needs a clown and windmill to be a theme-park putt-putt. The fairways were'nt just bare from dormancy, there... More

Hotel has seen better times...rooms have old, faded carpet. Felt dirty and musty. While restaurant food was okay, service time was very slow. And the golf course was truly pitiful. The two holes that can be seen from the clubhouse have grass on the fairways. But once you get away from the clubhouse on all other of the 25 holes... More

Heard Tapatio is getting new owners so my wife and I decided to go have dinner and see for ourselves. We were pleasantly surprised. Dinner was excellent and the club house dining room and lobby has new paint and lobby furniture. The golf greens were already being worked on as well. We heard the new owners have plans for many... Wow!!! What a huge waste of time and money. The MOTEL is outdated with green carpet and 19" box t.v. I felt like we were in a horror movie being watched at all times. The pictures on the internet makes it look like something it is definitely not. Golf course looked so bad I didn't even waste my time with... More
