I really enjoyed the ride and just stayed on the whole time. But you can hop on and off at attractions if you want. It helped me to decide what I wanted to explore next in Salem. The guide and driver were both very nice on my particular ride.

This was a great trolley tour. You could get on and off and various stops. The driver was extremely knowledgeable and very funny. Salem was a short stop on our trip so we decided to take this tour. It is definitively a nice view of the city and sea village. It was about an hour long. The only disappointing thing...

worth the price to see the town and hear about the history, the witch phase was very short and overshadowed the wonderfull sea village aspect of the place.

I only had one day in Salem, so I bought a ticket for the trolley tour. The tour consists of two loops, each ending at the Trolley Shop, and you can get off and on at various places along the way. I stayed on for the entire trip, which lasted about 1 hour and covers quite a distance. We went...

Ok so I have used this tour before and had a great time, but this last time was horrible. We were told we could purchase tickets on the trolley. We tried to do so, but the guys working the trolley didn't want to sell us tickets and sent us back inside to purchase them. While we did this they proceeded...

We took the Downeaster from Maine to Massachussetts and then the commuter rail over to Salem. This reenactment of A Christmas Carol was superbly done in full costume and with every actor wanting to be a part of the play. The trolley took us to 3 different locations to visit the Ghost of the Past, Present and Future. They involved...

Did the Christmas Carol tour for the first te. LOVED IT! My granddUghter was a bit weary at first but really got into it as we went along. A bit difficult for people who have problems with stairs but a lot of fun otherwise.

A friend and I took the "Tales & Tombstones" evening tour with the Salem Trolley this past October. We had been walking around downtown all day, so a chance to get off our feet was lovely. The tour itself was quite fun... lasting about an hour and not bad for the price ($20 per adult), we wound through the streets...

This is a very quick and superficial way to get a look at Salem. I suppose it hits all the highlights, but the guide on our trolley did not go into depth about anything and seemed more interested in being a comedian than a tour guide. You are alllowed to get on and off the trolley to tour places that...

I am not sure if the tickets are always good for the entire day that they are issued or if this was so just the day that we visited. For $15 per adult, we rode around for an hour and got an overwiew of the sights by a knowledgeable tour guide. People could get off and on the trolley re....
