Tour starts with a dramatization of the witch trials and then they lead you to the dungeon and describe each scene for you to experience what the conditions were like for those accused of witchcraft and awaited trial or sentencing. Very informative and we had a very knowledgeable guide. More

The live short play they did was not only entertaining it was quite eye opening. The dungeon is really built. The guide was great!!! More

This one is probably just right for the not so brave little ones. It gives a good mix of history and drama. The dioramas are a little sad. But we were limited by the kids. Next time when they are older we can do one of the scarier ones. More

If you like touristy, this is your place. But it's overpriced and there wasn't much to see. The tour guides had little to no enthusiasm. If you're familiar enough with the history of Salem, this place adds little. More

The witch trial play at the beginning was cute, a bit cheesy, but interesting and informative. The dungeon was very low tech and I think probably conveyed the conditions accurately, but was mostly a lead up to the gift shop where the kitsch kicked in. More

A friend and I went to Salem for Halloween weekend and did all the touristy activities. One of our favorites was the Salem Witch Dungeon! We enjoyed the Witch Trail reenactment and especially the creepy dingy recreation of the dungeon where the "witches" were jailed. The dummies are downright scary! We loved it! Two thumbs up! More
