Extremely friendly service, and a huge selection of very interesting stones, fossils, and artifacts. This place is a collectors dream as well as an awesome place for anyone with an appreciation for nature's beauty to visit.

Rich and Ron are very hospitable and will take the time to explain whatever you want more education on; whether it is an artifact from South America or a fossil from New Zealand. Their enthusiasm for their passion is catching. I spent about an hour there mainly looking at the prehistoric indian collection and museum collections of pots, points and... More

I have been going to the Tucson Gem, Mineral & Fossil show for many years but this is the first time I am writing about it. I go specifically for the fossils. If you're into dinosaurs and other "exotic" fossils there is NO better place to go anywhere in the world and see everything in one place than Tucson from... More

We took our 14 year old son to the mineral and gem world. He thought he had died and gone to heaven. He spent almost and hour chatting to the owners about all kinds or rocks and fossils and spent ages going through their huge inventory of minerals. They are extremely patient and and spent time teaching him all kind... More

Whoever claimed this is a museum is right. There are thousands of mineral and fossil specimens, many of which are in drawers and not immediately visible. In addition there are fascinating artifacts from other cultures which will interest people of all ages. I was particularly impressed by the owner. He was down-to-earth friendly, informative, and never in any way pushed... More

This is the biggie of all gem and mineral shows in the US. If you enjoy seeing rock, gems , and minerals from all over the world, this is the place. It takes place every year and last the entire month of February. There are over 20 venues and all are free to the public. Some vendors only sell wholesale,... More

We planned a winter trip to Tucson just for this and believe me you have to see it to believe it. We have a really small leather and jewelry business and were told this is the place to go to buy our materials. There are over 50 venues so do some research before you go. We did not have the... More

I ended up in Tucson in February, looking for something to see. In February, the rock show is what you see in Tucson. I was amazed. First, it is the largest gem, mineral, and fossil show in the world. Over forty venues, selling everything gem, mineral, meteorite and fossil that you can imagine. The must see is the show at... Friends have been after us to visit and attend this show, which starts early February and runs 2 weeks and covers 26 venues. All I can say is wear comfortable shoes, bring your wallet and be prepared to be amazed. The offerings of minerals, gems, beads, stones, jewlery, art and all kinds of other things is truly eye opening. It's fun... More
