It was quite by fluke we found the place and even more of a coincidence we found our way along the trails. The address shown will not get you there. Without going to google maps we would have missed the parking lot. Type in Honey Bee Canyon Trail in your google search and get directions from there. The trails were...

Although surrounded by new development in Tucson, this trail is often down in a canyon and you never see it.

We arrived in Phoenix, Drove south to Tucson, but on the way to our ---------- we stopped at Honeybee Canyon- sort of a community nature area, for a little taste of the desert. We're from Minnesota so desert is VERY different for us. A beauty in its own right. Little canyon is fun first hike.

You can walk as far as you want and then turn back, it is all level and easy walking with all manner of different desert formations. I had a sense of relaxation and peace. Good to do now and then
