The lighthouse is a classic, but the coastal trail above the rocky shore is spectacular. Big cliffs, crashing waves, spruce trees clinging to the rocks. Go!

While the lighthouse and surrounding area is great, the walking/hiking trails are a chance to see excellent views and possibly wildlife. We have been many times and the thrill is still there. Don't miss the chance.
This park has a nice lighthouse to visit and offers a very scenic hike. I was glad I stopped in for a visit!
The hiking trail along the shore is absolutely stunning. There are cliffs, beaches, waterfalls and fantastic ocean views. There is a bit of up-and-down, so it couldn't really be called an easy hike; but it isn't very difficult either. This is a great hike for picture takers.
Everyone needs to see it & the grounds once in their lives. Even on a foggy morning it was still a beautiful sight
I've been here in all kinds of weather, and each time the place looks different. Every changing and almost wild, get to know Down East through its nature and weather. Take the trails, and if you are limited in time use it to see the polar bog. Don't forget the camera, and respect the environment.
If you want a view then this is the place. Loads of wildlife to see and nice shoreline to witness the high and low tides.
While visiting Maine for a long weekend during Maine Lighthouse day. This was my choice to visit and tour. The Rangers and Coast Guard were very friendly and somewhat informative (they missed a few historical details). The Museum has some interesting displays, and the grounds are very nice.
The W.Quoddy Headlight is a small lighthouse with a nice museum. Worth a visit. It sits on the most eastern point in continental U.S. It contains info on the light as well as the surrounding area.
Nice lighthouse and park with a few trails. Just because it is the easternmost point in the continental US, you have to visit here. And there are great views, some nice trails and a little museum.
