Great old theater, although the seats are a little small. We've seen many a traveling Broadway-style show there.

This is a beautiful old theater. It's easy to access and right downtown.

My review is purely on the theater and not the show (though it was entertaining). From the exterior of the building, you could never prepare yourself for the beauty of the interior.
Amazing detail! Terrific sound quality. Comfortable, and roomy seating. Friendly staff.
Concessions are ok, but definitely eat at one of the local restaurants before seeing an evening performance....

We saw The Moody Blues at the Providence Performing Arts Center last week. A fabulous concert in a truly fabulous theater. It was our first visit to PPAC (shame on us) and we were quite impressed with the beautiful old concert hall. We had pretty good seats 30 rows from the stage but with seating for only 4000, there does...

I have been a subscriper for many years now. The building inside is beautiful and filled with much history. Great place to see a Broadway Musical or a concert. Seats are all good. Some work can be used on the sound system for upstairs.

Known by locals as PPAC the Providence Performing Arts Center is a restored Loew’s movie theatre. A variety of concerts, classic and off-Broadway performances are offered. Enjoy a great show in the splendor of the old time theater.
Tip: When looking through offerings on the web site check under Community Outreach for Wonders of Wurlitzer times to hear an organ...

I have seen many performances at this venue. Great stage and accoustics. Recently, I missed the date of a show that I had 4 tickets to attend. I called the box office ,and they were so helpful and polite. They replaced the tickets, and we were able to see the show.
